This film was produced to promote the book and as a creative exploration, with all participants contributing purely out of passion. The project was made with a zero budget. The characters and atmosphere are inspired by Dmitrii Skolzki's artbook of fairy tales, 'about Alevtina and Tamara.'

In March 2024, while the book was running through the printing presses, I was preparing its presentation. Along the way, I decided to add another layer—to shoot a short film about Alevtina and Tamara. The actors were found, the team came together, and we headed to the mountains, to a location I had chosen in advance.

We filmed for two days, a few hours at a time. Many short scenes, multiple takes. Not everything made it into the final edit, but that was part of the process. I didn’t manage to finish it in time for the event. The editing was postponed, waiting for the right moment. It wasn’t until August 16 that it was finally completed. I did most of the editing myself, but Seva helped with the final cut and composed the music. Sasha assisted on set. The actors were also my friends.

The film turned out the way it was meant to. A huge thank you to all my friends and everyone who was part of this process.
